Now the feud between Batista and Undertaker was much like his feud with Orton in my view. Both feuds took place mostly on Smackdown and lasted almost the entire year. Now getting back to Batista facing off against Taker. Their feud started off at No Way Out where they teamed up to take on John Cena and Shawn Michaels in a Raw vs Smackdown match. The match would end with Batista turning on Taker by delivering a Spinebuster and then allowing HBK and Cena to finish off Taker.
We go onto Wrestlemania where Taker is the number one contender to Batista's World title after wining that years Wrestlemania for the first time. It would be Streak vs Title. This was by far Batista's greatest match of all time. It looked as though he was gonna be the first to end the winning streak of Takers, but it was not so. The first Tombstone Taker hit on Batista was enough for Taker to end the match and Batista's title reign. The streak would continue, but the feud was far from over.
Next night on Raw Batista tells Taker that he wants his rematch at Backlash, but not just any match he wanted it to be a Last Man Standing match. We skip ahead to the ending of that match. Batista ended up spearing Taker off the stage and it causes the stage setting to crash down and caused both men to be counted out. So this leads to yet another match.
On Smackdown's 05/11/07 episode they are put inside a Steel Cage match against each other. The match would end up being a draw once again with both men touching the floor at the same time. Then after the match Taker who was still champ at the time would end up losing the title due to Edge cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase.
We skip few months later to Cyber Sunday. Where the guest ref is selected by the WWE fans and they selected the Texas Rattle Snake ,Stone Cold Steve Austin .Going into this match Batista was champ at the time. And Batista would end up retaining the title after hitting a Batista bomb.
Now yet another match was made between these two after their Cyber Sunday clash. This time it would take place inside the most violent match ever in WWE history Hell in a Cell. Lets take a look back at this great great match.
