JOSH MATTHEWS RELEASED BY WWE.

WWE Annoucer Josh Matthews is the WWE's latest release. Matthews first got his start in 2001 as a Tough Enough competitor where he was trying out as a wrestler, but later moved on to become a announcer much like Michael Cole was in his early years.

This was a huge shocker for myself. I personally thought that Josh Matthews was excellent at his job. He reminded me so much of how Michael Cole was when he first started in WWE. I really thought that one day he could have taken over as a Raw announcer. Maybe its still possible. They have been known to hire people back.

Lets go back a few months. There was a rumor going around that former announcer and Raw GM Johnathan Coachman was supposed to make his WWE return. Maybe Coach will be Josh's replacement. Just a guess. Coach gained a bit of popularity at his current job at ESPN and maybe he'll help bring in more viewers.

Since Josh Matthews release there was news going around that he was at a TNA wrestling taping this week, but that doesn't mean nothing. We always hear about WWE and TNA wrestlers going to each others shows after they were released. But Josh would be a good addition to their announcer team.

Haven't seen many of his matches, but they could also possibly have him wrestle too. TNA really seems to be in desperate times. There pulling off all the stops just to stay on the air. They already announced that they will bring back the 6 sided ring tonight.
