This match is by far in my top 5 matches in Wrestlemania history. The Rock came in supposing suppose to be the good guy and Hogan came in supposed to be the bad guy, but the crowd ended up cheering Hogan and booing the Rock. Hogan had more respect for the crowd in this arena because of his past Wrestlemania match against Ultimate Warrior which was held in the same building. The Canadian fans are also one of the greatest crowds for wrestling, and this is coming from a American. Maybe its not even that much like today's crowds the Rock wasn't liked that very much in a lot of towns. Look at the match he had against Brock at Summerslam he came in as the good guy and got booed. As for now days I think the Rock should just turn Heel again much like he was in 2002 it would work so well right now going up against Cena this year.
Now going back to the Rock vs Hulk Hogan match this was a back and forth crowd on their feet every second of the match. Hogan over powering Rock since the beginning of the match. The Rock hit the Rockbottom about 3 times, went for the sharpshooter, even had some under hand move. Hogan also had a few under handed moves with the chokes and low blows. Hogan hit the Big Boot and Leg drop which was a move that ended a lot of past his past Wrestlemania matches. For me I enjoy the close calls, the 15- 30 mins long matches.
