2013 CHAMBER RESULTS

Elimination Chamber came to use live on PPV last night. Matches featured in this match were # 1 contenders Elimination Chamber match, Team Cena vs Shield, Miz vs Cesaro, Brodus and Tensai vs Rhodes Scholars, Tamina vs Kaitlyn, and of course The Rock vs Cm Punk. This PPV was full of surprises and a few not so surprised endings. Next stop is the big one Wrestlemania 29. Are you Ready?

Starting with the Elimination Chamber # 1 contenders match for the World Title. This was a huge shocker. I don;t think anyone expected that Jack Swagger was gonna be the winner. This was a great ending to me. It gave us a unexpected ending and that's what I love about now days WWE. And now this gives a younger talent a opportunity to be in a huge match at Wrestlemania. I for one hope Swagger wins the title at Mania. It will be fun to see where this goes for Swagger.  Is Swagger deserving of a World title ? Leave a comment and let me know.

Onto the midcard matches. Starting with Miz vs Cesaro this was a expected win. I think WWE is really into Cesaro's character and probably want to see him hold onto the belt until Mania or longer. As for the Diva's match this was also a expected victory because I see Kaitlyn going up against AJ Lee at Wrestlemania for the Diva's title. And I think she will drop the strap at Mania to AJ. For the opening Pre- Show good opening I think this Brodus and Tensai team are ok, but what would make it more better is dropping this dancing crap and make them more into monsters. Brodus should have dropped this gimmick a long time ago. Even Vince didn't like the gimmick.

The Team Cena consisting of John Cena, Ryback, and Sheamus vs SHIELD was another shocker victory. I really have no idea where they're going with this SHIELD group its ok for me, but its kinda like we've been there before with previous groups like NWO, Nexus, Evolution, and other groups. As for there victory it was another swerve. What kind of momentum will this give to Cena going into Wrestlemania though? And where does this put the SHIELD as far as who their next targets will be. Tonight I expect them to maybe jump Sheamus and this creates a match for Sheamus at Mania.

Finally we had the WWE title match in which if the Rock got counted out or DQ'd he would have lost the title to Cm Punk. This however backfired on Cm Punk. The Rock was still able to defeat Cm Punk despite having all odds against him. Everyone expected this victory no doubt, but for me its not about win or lose. Its about the action that takes place in the ring. And these two put on a great match. Where I see Punk at Mania is that he will have a huge match this year. The guys I expect will face him will be either Undertaker if he's in shape for it or Brock Lesnar whom looks like he is ready for this event. He wants that big check. If it is Lesnar the storyline would most likely be a fight over who gets Paul Heymen as manager or something like that. And if its Undertaker it will See the Best in the World vs The Streak to see if Punk is truly best in the World to see if he can be the one to break the streak.

Let's compare the results to my predictions from last week in the link below. http://wwetapout.blogspot.com/2013/02/elimination-chamber-preview.html
