WWE moving PPV date due to NFL schedule.
The NFL has released the 2012 regular season schedule today, and one team is going to cause a headache for WWE.
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be playing at home against the Baltimore Ravens for the Sunday Night game on NBC the week of November 18th, the same night of Survivor Series at the Consol Energy Center Arena. WWE is not going to attempt to compete with the Steelers in their own city and is looking into other options, whether it be moving the PPV by a week or finding another city.

John Morrison addressed his departure from WWE during an interview with Colt Cabana for The Art of Wrestling.
“I left on good terms,” he said of his parting of ways. He is now looking to reposition himself and is hopeful that he’ll be worth more upon his return to the organization.
Morrison also discussed his workout routine, parodying The Undertaker and Triple H in an online video, parkour, life outside of professional wrestling and more. The interview is available at WeLoveColt.com.

SMACKDOWN results.
Alberto Del Rio's music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Del Rio says Eve is not only beautiful, but also smart. If she's looking for an opponent for Sheamus then she should stop looking because there's no one better than him. Plus, what happened to him in his quest for the World Heavyweight Championship was horrible. Del Rio says she's smart and perfect, but she needs to ask if she wants to make John Laurinaitis proud. Del Rio says the answer is, "Si." Del Rio wants to be made the number one contender. Eve says he makes a very compelling case.
Randy Orton's music hits, and he makes his way to the ring to a great reception. Orton says he knows that Eve is new to the job, so he introduces himself. He says she has a big decision on her hands, so he suggests they use the crowd to help make the decision. Orton asks if they want to see Del Rio, but they boo. Orton asks if they want to see him, and they cheer. Orton says in the name of "People Power" that she has her answer.
Kane's pyro explodes on the stage, and he makes his way to the ring. Kane says neither of the two men have the qualifications that he does. That pasty white Irish ghost should have to face him, the Devil's favorite demon. In case she needed anymore convincing, tonight's episode is number 666. Eve says there's only one way to settle this. The superstar who will face Sheamus at No Way Out for the World Heavyweight Championship will be the winner of tonight's triple threat match.
They show still photos of Christian winning a "People Power" Battle Royal at Over The Limit and then beating Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Championship later in the evening. Christian's music hits, and the new Intercontinental Champion makes his way to the ring. He'll be in action next.

Winner by Pinfall: Christian
Match Rating: 3/4 *
Cody Rhodes's music hits, and the former champion comes out to the stage. Rhodes says for eight months he spent his time wiping the dirt off that title to restore it back to the pinnacle of its prominence because it was held by jokes. It was abused by the likes of Santino Marella, and he made it mean something again. It was held by greats like Razor Ramon, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and Shawn Michaels. In one night Christian ruined it. Nobody cares about that title because nobody cares about Christian. It won't take eight months to rectify that because when he gets the rematch that he's entitled to, it'll only take him three seconds.
Tonight's main event will see Randy Orton take on Kane and Alberto Del Rio in a Triple Threat Match. The winner will face Sheamus at No Way Out for the title.
-Commercial Break-

The announcers wonder whether Sheamus will issue John Laurinaitis a public apology. That'll come later. Ryback is in action, next.
-Commercial Break-
A video plays that hypes up Sin Cara. He'll return to Smackdown next week.
JOBBER ALERTS: Brian Edwards and Kevin Bendl, two jobbers, are in the ring with no TV entrance. They make fun of Wilkes-Barre for the many ways of saying the name. Ryback has beaten two guys before, but never at the same time.
Brian Edwards and Kevin Bendl vs. Ryback
Ryback is sporting a nasty black eye. The "Goldberg" chants cue up. Ryback pushes one down, lifts another one up in a powerbomb position, uses him to knock the other over, and he powerbombs him down. Ryback hits one with a nasty spinebuster and immediately follows up with a powerbomb. Ryback delivers a nasty lariat to one before picking them both up. Ryback lifts them both up at the same time and hits a double fisherman's suplex buster for the win.

Santino Marella will take on Ricardo Rodriguez, next.
-Commercial Break-
Santino Marella vs. Ricardo Rodriguez

They go to lock up, but Ricardo botches it on purpose. Santino gets a headlock applied and shoulder blocks him down. They go into the ropes until Santino stops. Ricardo hits the ropes back and forth until he collapses from exhaustion. Santino then picks him up and gives him an airplane spin. They both fall down. Santino crawls under the ring, so Ricardo goes to the opposite side. Santino comes out from where he went under with the Cobra out, taps Ricardo on the shoulder, and hits him with it for the win.
Winner by Pinfall: Santino Marella
Match Rating: N/A
Will Sheamus apologize? We'll find out next.
-Commercial Break-
Will Sheamus apologize to John Laurinaitis?
Sheamus's music hits, and the World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring. Sheamus channels his inner Lance Storm and says, "If I can be serious for a minute..." Sheamus says he's been sent out here to apologize to John Laurinaitis. It's funny because in his retrospect you shouldn't have to apologize for an accident. He was simply running to the ring, and he hit into John Laurinaitis. Some people say he did it on purpose, so if that's true then it's accidentally on purpose. Sheamus takes a while before issuing his apology. Sheamus says he'd like to apologize for John Laurinaitis being a massive arse. While we're talking about his arse, if you look hard enough, you'll find Eve and David Otunga so far up there that they could probably tell you what he had for breakfast. He'd also like to apologize for everyone else who kisses his arse, like a giant 7-foot arse kisser.
Sheamus wants to talk about something important to him. Sheamus says if he had his way then he'd defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton at No Way Out.
EXCUSE ME! Vickie Guerrero comes out to massive heat. Her dear friend Eve has told her that Sheamus will face someone right now. That someone is her client, the All-American-American, Jack Swagger.
Sheamus vs. Jack Swagger w/ Vickie Guerrero
They circle the ring and lock up. They tussle around the ring to jockey for position before Sheamus gives him a clean break. They circle the ring, and Swagger takes him down with a waistlock takeover. Sheamus elbows him off and runs into a boot. Sheamus sidesteps him charging, and they have another standoff. Swagger knees him in the midsection and punches. Sheamus punches back before sending him to the ropes for a shoulder block. Sheamus goes to the top rope for a diving shoulder block for a two count. Swagger rolls out of the ring to recover. Sheamus shoulder blocks him down before throwing him back in the ring. Vickie distracts Sheamus on the apron, and Swagger knocks him off. Sheamus appears to have tweaked his ankle.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Swagger kicking away at Sheamus's ankle while Vickie laughs. Sheamus comes back with a bear hug, but Swagger gets him off. Swagger smashes the ankle off the ring post, and he DDTs the limb for a two count. Swagger applies a leg lock, but Sheamus refuses to give up. Sheamus kicks him off, and Swagger clotheslines him a few times in the corner. Swagger twists the injured leg around the ropes, but Sheamus fights him off. Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick for the win.
Winner by Pinfall: Sheamus
Match Rating: * 1/4
Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio, and Kane will fight in a triple threat match to determine who will face Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Way Out. We'll also hear from the Big Show on why he's changed so much.
-Commercial Break-
JOBBER ALERT: Yoshi Tatsu is in the ring with no TV entrance. They show Damien Sandow beating him down last week.
Damien Sandow begs our indulgence for a moment. He's here to help all of us. Last week, out intellectual savior was caught in a conundrum: subject the WWE Universe to a contest between himself and an unworthy opponent, a bout that would serve to only propel us further into our self-imposed ignorance, or do the honorable thing by abstaining from such a mockery so we can all continue to place him on the pedestal of enlightenment. They boo, and he asks them to remain silent while he speaks. However, he chose to depart without incident when he was accosted by the sophomoric bantering by the ignoramus that stands before him. The dunce did not grasp the concept he was trying to teach, so tonight he will impart his lesson physically. This is for the benefit, welfare, and common good of everyone. "You're welcome!"
Yoshi Tatsu vs. Damien Sandow
Sandow puts himself between the ropes to keep Tatsu away. He kicks him, knees him in the guts, and hits a Russian leg sweep. Sandow hits an arm trap neckbreaker for the win.
Winner by Pinfall: Damien Sandow
Match Rating: N/A
Damien Sandow celebrates with a perfect cartwheel in the ring as "Hallelujah" plays through the arena.
-Commercial Break-
Big Show addresses the WWE Universe
Big Show's music hits, and he makes his way to the ring to a chorus of boos. Big Show says he was fired the Monday before Over The Limit. Most people know what it's like to be fired, but he doesn't. The difference between him and us is that he loves this job. He's a giant that loves dominating people. When he lost his dream job, he didn't know what to do. He didn't have a means of supporting his family. He became despondent. He couldn't eat or breathe. He felt betrayed by his so-called friends. He felt betrayed by the WWE Universe. Not one of them, or the superstars, or the technical crew came to his defense. After all the years and things he's done, that's what he gets.
They chant that he sold out which seems to anger him. Big Show says he didn't sell out. After all he's done, this is the thanks he gets. He realized at that moment that he has no friends. He realized that he is alone in this world. Then he got the call. When you're drowning, do you really care where the lifeline comes from? He made a deal. If he helped John Laurinaitis defeat John Cena, then he'd get his life back. He got a new contract and a big, fat bonus. All Laurinaitis had to do was escape from Cena and it was all set. Big Show set the ruse for John Cena. When he threw Laurinaitis to Cena, he knew exactly what would happen next. With one punch, he knocked John Cena out cold. Then he watched Laurinaitis pin Cena for the win. At No Way Out he'll do it again. He understands that the people really never cared about him. Now he damn sure doesn't care about us.
Big Show leaves the ring, and Kane's pyro explodes. Big Show and Kane walk by one another giving a look. All of a sudden while Kane is getting ready to make the ring posts explode, Daniel Bryan viciously assaults Daniel Bryan with a chair! Bryan absolutely lays into him with the chair, probably about twenty times before the referees pull him back!
-Commercial Break-
Sin Cara returns to Smackdown next Friday.
They show a replay of Daniel Bryan assaulting Kane with the chair. Kane is still in pain, but he's insistent on taking part in the match. He seems to be favoring his left arm.
#1 Contender's Match

Kane tries to repeat the move, but Orton kicks him in the face. Orton hits his patented backbreaker, but Del Rio breaks up the pin. Del Rio stomps both men before punching away at Orton. Kane uppercuts Del Rio, and Orton clotheslines him out of the ring. Orton turns, and Kane clotheslines him out of the ring. Kane drives Orton into the ring apron and boots Del Rio. Orton blocks a shot into the barricade and reverses it on Kane. Orton bounces Del Rio into the barricade and bounces Kane on the announcer's table. I honestly don't see how many of you make it w/that much anger in your life...seems exhausting & a colossal waste of time!! See, that's all I've got & I'm already tired!! Time to workout & hit my day. Y'all have a wonderful day!! :-)
Had a nice txt'ing convo w/@IAmJericho and as always, he's handling things well. Just wanted to lend him some support!! :-) "

Chris Jericho Suspended.
During Thursday's WWE Raw Live Event in São Paulo, Brazil, Chris Jericho denigrated the Brazilian flag during a match against WWE Champion CM Punk. This has resorted to WWE suspending Jericho indefinitely.
This is said to be a major issue for WWE at the moment.
The official WWE website features an update on the situation with comments from Jericho regarding the incident.
“I made a bad judgment call in the course of entertaining [WWE] fans in Brazil,” Jericho told WWE.com. “I apologized to the people in the crowd for showing disrespect.”
During his match with Punk, Jericho took the Brazilian flag Punk was holding, threw it to the ground, and stomped on it. Desecrating the national flag is a crime in Brazil and is a punishable offense. Jericho was almost arrested and ended up being rushed to the airport to get out of the country into Ecuador.
WWE.com's report confirm police stopped the event and gave Jericho the option to apologize or be arrested. Jericho immediately told the crowd he regretted his actions, allowing police to let the event continue.
Due to his actions, WWE officials suspended Jericho indefinitely.
“It was a bad move,” Jericho said. “I did it with [our] fans’ entertainment in mind and I’ll accept the consequences for that.”

News on Ric Flair.
The general feeling within TNA is that Ric Flair will not be back. At least one top star in the company says that Flair quit and TNA is trying to make it look like it's the other way around.
Regarding a return to WWE, some in the company believe he will be brought back because of the WWE Network and because Triple H will go to bat for him to be used again. Don't expect to see Flair ever wrestle for WWE again because of the retirement stipulation.
Flair's new deal with Coca Cola for a new energy booster is said to be lucrative enough that he could leave pro wrestling and be fine. However, Flair's financial issues are likely lifelong, no matter what deal he gets.

TNA files lawsuit on WWE.
TNA Wrestling filed a lawsuit in Nashville, TN yesterday against World Wrestling Entertainment and former TNA/WWE office worker Brian Wittenstein for interference with existing contracts, conversion, breach of contract, civil conspiracy, unfair competition, and violation of the Tennessee Uniform Trade Secrets Act. They are also suing Wittenstein for breach of duty loyalty.
The lawsuit alleges that Wittenstein, who had worked for TNA previously, gave WWE inside information on contracts and other matters backstage within TNA, and now WWE is attempting to poach talent from TNA based off that information.
Wittenstein worked briefly under Michael Hayes when he was hired by WWE earlier this year before being let go in April. The lawsuit alleges that during this time period, Wittenstein provided WWE the inside information from TNA. However, WWE did not inform TNA that the informtion was provided for several weeks.
TNA claims that this information was presented on 5/7. Several days later, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair approached TNA management about being released from his contract. TNA alleges that Flair wanted out so he could return to WWE.
An injunction was issued earlier today demanding that WWE & Wittenstein return whatever confidential information retained during his TNA tenure. They were both instructed not to destroy the material.

Y2J Interview.
As noted, in a WWE.com interview Chris Jericho discussed the rumors circulating about his return to and departure from WWE. Here are some highlights:
On the rumors that he will be departing shortly from WWE: “I’m actually not even here right now. I’m just a hologram that I have sent to all the shows. That’s something that has been kind of funny for this whole return. People have been predicting my early demise from the company for every show.
“First it was the day after WrestleMania, I’m gone. Then it was the day after Extreme Rules, I’m gone. Then it’s the day after that, or Over The Limit. Instead of just sitting back and enjoying the ride, people want to predict when I’m leaving. I just keep showing up every time. I’m like a bad disease.”
On what his plans are going forward: “Just to continue what I’m doing and being the best in the world. Win, lose or draw, it’s always about having the best performance and the best match of the night. It’s about making sure that people get their money’s worth when they come to see one of our shows and when Jericho’s on the show.
“What we do in the WWE is so multi-tasking and deep-rooted in all the different things that we do to provide the shows — all the touring shows.
“That’s another thing that people have said about me is that I’m leaving or that I’m just coming back for money. I’m here for every show, My first house show was in Tyler, Texas, and I’m going to Brazil and Ecuador tomorrow. I’m not just here for the TVs, for just Raw or Smackdown! I’m not just here for pay-per-views. When I sign up, I go hard, I go home. So, I’m here for every show.
“That’s the way I like it. So, whatever category haters want to put me in — haters going to hate. I don’t really care. Because I’m here doing what I do best, which is performing.”

WWe responds to TNA
The Nashville City Paper covered the TNA lawsuit against WWE.
In their report, WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt commented, "Our reaction is that no good deed ever goes unpunished. What the WWE did here is what you would hope any company would do in these circumstances it found itself in."
What McDevitt is trying to explain is, following WWE informing TNA that Brian Wittenstein was offering up "insider" TNA information, the company are feeling unfairly blamed.
TNA claims that WWE is now using the knowledge obtained from Wittenstein to their advantage, and is trying to "poach contracted talent" from the company. “This wrongful disclosure and misappropriation allows WWE to effectively price TNA out of the market and cause irreparable harm to TNA’s business and profitability,” the lawsuit reads. “WWE now knows the confidential details of TNA’s business affairs including its marketing and business strategy and analysis, which leaves TNA vulnerable to WWE’s unfair position in the market,” the lawsuit reads.
The lawsuit continues, "In order to injure TNA and gain a competitive advantage, WWE intentionally interfered with TNA's contractual relationship with Ric Flair and maliciously used the trade secrets and confidential information provided by Wittenstein to approach Ric Flair."
A restraining order requiring WWE and Wittenstein to return any inside information Wittenstein retained and brought to WWE is a temporary order through the June 11 court hearing, according to the report.

HBK Interview.
The Miami Herald interviewed Shawn Michaels. Here are highlights from part two of the interview.
Being difficult to work with during first WWE stint: "If I'm putting on my psychiatrist's hat and you dig all the way down to the root of it has nothing to do with wrestling or anything else. It just has to do with a young man's insecurities with himself. Having said that, that can manifest itself in any form and how that's interpreted obviously depends on the time and depends on the spin. Let's face it. The ability it takes to be difficult really is to disagree with somebody. Nine times out of 10 mine were usually more creative issues than anything else. The company felt one thing. I felt another. We both feel opposite things, so therefore it's going to be difficult.
"Nowadays, the same thing can happen and depending on how our media spins it, that can be cool. The are guys who have done the exact same things that I did, and it's sort of pretty nifty, because they're fighting against Vince McMahon and the way the company wants to go. I think one guy's unprofessionalism is like another's guy's Attitude Era throwback. One is perceived as cool, and the other is not.
"Jim Ross used to always say to me, 'Shawn, it's not because of what you're saying or what you're doing. It's your vocabulary. It's your delivery.' When I came back, Jim said, 'There were a lot of times I would agree with you, but your delivery was so harsh that there was just no way you could jump on your side.' I think that's a fair statement. I was a young guy full of piss and vinegar -- excuse my language -- and I felt I had a very good idea of where the business needed to go and things that needed to be done.
"I never went back and told anybody what I did was justified. I'm not saying that at all, but let's face it. That is where the business went -- to more attitude and things of that nature and to perhaps being a little more truthful and a little more reality based, which I was doing many years ago as well as other guys. Now guys do that, and it's not really seen as being difficult or fighting a traditional system or unprofessional. It's more seen as fighting the WWE system, which is in turn viewed pretty cool."
Why he wasn't fired during his first WWE run: "The reason I survived it, and the reason I'm still part of the WWE now is because the one guy who loves absolutely every stitch of it, which is Vince McMahon, the guy I argued with more than anybody, understood it. He understood that it wasn't unprofessionalism or ego that was driving all that. It was a desire and a passion to be the guy and to be the absolute very best that I could be. His only challenge was channeling all that in the right direction, and he did that pretty darn well.
"He tells people all the time the reason he didn't fire me is because he could see through all that. Ultimately, when it came down to his way or my way, he always knew when he said, 'This is what I want done, period.' He knew I'd do it, and I always did.
"I can't do anything about the stories that are out there. I can only control what it was he said. I was given the right by him to argue and state my case. I could go before the judge, so to speak, and make my argument, and the judge either threw his gavel done and said it was his way or he said, 'All right. We'll do it that way.' The reason I'm still part of the company is because ultimately I never did anything that he didn't want me to do."

TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter defended Hulk Hogan against critics and explained what he means to her organization.
"I think people think he's just showing up and collecting some big fat paycheck and it couldn't be further from the truth. This guy, this legend in our business, truly surpasses the word wrestling itself. He is so immersed in our business and helping us grow our business on days he's not even on shows. He's driving an hour and a half to sit in on our agents' meetings and help working with agents and the talent on the night of the show. If we have a pay-per-view and he's not on it, he's there. He's working his tail off," Carter said.
"And then you have, what does Hulk Hogan bring to a company such as ours and the doors it opens and the visibility it gives and that's everything. He's making business calls for us, he's talking to advertisers, he's showing up and working Viacom stuff. He's as vested as you can possibly be and I think he will always be known for so many big big things throughout his career. I am hopeful that this period of his life, even when he's not in the ring wrestling will be one that fans are so proud of how much he's giving back to this sport and how much he's giving back to this sport and how he's helping these young guys grow and what he's doing for our industry."
Carter also discusses Kurt Angle, acquiring mixed martial star King Mo and more. The audio interview is available at www.sportstownchicago.com/fightclub.

WWE Responds To Claim They Are Barely Above Porn.
WWE has responded to a column featured in the Darien Times by editor Joshua Fisher, who stated that WWE is a product "barely above pornography." Expect lots of similar articles not being kind to WWE with Linda McMahon's political campaign kicking off. Here is WWE's response to the column:
Dear Mr. Fisher:

Although this was an opinion piece, your position as editor of the Darien Times would ethically require you to report the facts accurately and not distort the truth. For future editorials and news stories that may pertain to WWE, we wanted you to be aware of the facts so you clearly understand our programming content and the type of entertainment we provide to our more than 300,000 fans in the state of Connecticut and millions around the world.

Sin Cara news.
Sin Cara has returned last Saturday in Florence, SC. He defeated Hunico that night. He has been out of action for about 6 months.
I personally am excited to hear about this. Sin cara is one of my favorites. Always fun to watch him fly around the ring doing moves i've never seen . I hope this time around he gets some kind of a title run, and feud with any of the Highfliers. Hopefully Rey Mysterio and him have a match at one of the 4 big PPVs. Would love to see these two in a ladder match against each other. Then, after their done feuding the can form a tag team with these two.

WWe will reach their 1,000th episode of Raw on July 23rd. The first episode was January 11,1993. Raw has been on air for the last 19 years, and we've seen some great matches and not so great matches.
Some of the greatest feuds have happened like the Stone Cold and Vince McMahon. Which had me at the edge of my seat every time. Never get tired of seeing Vince getting a Stunner. Anythinig that had to do with Stone Cold was/is fun to watch.

IMPACT Results.
We see a video highlighting Joseph Park's search for his brother Abyss, the secret that was revealed about A.J. Styles & Bobby Roode retaining his title over Rob Van Dam at Sacrifice this past Sunday.
We then go to the ring as the World Champion Bobby Roode makes his way to the ring. Roode says that time after time, people have stacked the odds against me. But, time after time, he overcomes the odds. Take Sacrifice for example when he defeated Rob Van Dam in Van Dam's type of match, a Ladder match. Roode says that Van Dam has perfected the Ladder match and that he is isn't gonna BS, Van Dam lived up to his moniker of "Mr. PPV" because he put Roode through hell at Sacrifice. Roode says that Van Dam put him through one of the most grueling matches of his career. But, at the end of the day, the "It Factor" retained his title and proved each and every one of you wrong. Roode then mocks the crowd to chant his name. Roode says that in 1 week, he will go down in history as the longest reigning World Champion in IMPACT Wrestling history. And next week, he will throw the biggest party that IMPACT Wrestling has ever seen. Roode says he is calling it "The It Factor's Celebration of Domination". For that to happen, Roode says he needs to call someone out, and that is Hulk Hogan.
Hogan makes his way to the ring as Roode says he has some demands for his party next week. Roode says he wants his private dressing room re-decorated 5 bottles of chilled champagne, green M& M's & gold confetti from Canada for his entrance. Hogan then takes the list and says that out of all the champions he has seen, he says Roode fixed everything that had gone awry when he became champion. But, as far as Roode's list of demands goes, he hasn't become the longest reigning champion yet so Hogan rips up Roode's list. Hogan says that next week is "Open Fight Night" and that on Open Fight Night, we have a title defense. So, Hogan says that next week, the TNA World Title will be defended and that upsets Roode. Hogan says that is the bad news, the good news is that Hogan took a poll of the TNA roster of who wanted a title shot and out comes almost the entire TNA lockerroom on the entrance way. Hogan says that he needs to eliminate the choices down to 4 men so he can figure out who is the best man for the job. So 1st up, Rob Van Dam will take on Bully Ray. Next, he is having a hard time with the situation between Jeff Hardy & Mr. Anderson, so they will face each other. Then, 2 guys with mean streaks should face off and that is Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe. Finally, the rest on the entranceway will compete in a battle royal to see who the 4th choice is. Hogan closes by saying to Roode that if you want to celebrate, you have to fight.
