A Rocky Start

The MNR (Monday Night Raw) program had a Rocky start, but on a “F” scale of 1 – 10 I give the ending an F5.  Rather that is what John Cena gotten by Brock Lesnar.  Brock made his debut return at the end of the show on RAW.  We had a great beginning by two superstar athletes, both The Rock, and John Cena had given each other due respects as the wonderful athletes and entertainers.

We know that the night before during WrestleMania, John Cena and The Rock had a match in which the Rock won.  The Rock did not quite acknowledge the victory as we had expected him to, just the fact that he had a great match with John Cena.  Rock goes on to say that, it was not about winning or loosing but that they put on a great show.  That it was history breaking, ground breaking, giving the people what they wanted to see.  All of us who seen that match can honestly say that it was a match worth seeing.

The Rock ended his speech by telling the audience his goal is to walk that ramp once again as the WWE champ.  Hence the reason why I stated that although he won fair and square, the fact that he did not have a Title Belt coming out of Mania made his victory a little more bitter than he cared for.  John Cena on the other hand came out not wanting to make excuses for his loss, the rumors were that he was too ashamed to show up.  Which we learned how that was not the case.  John Cena had tried several times to call out the Rock to congratulate him on the match at WrestleMania.

While we were all waiting for the Rock to answer Cena’s request, John had tried to do what he can to assure the audience that this is about pure sportsmanship.  He wanted to acknowledge Rock as being the better man.  John Cena had no problem eating his share of crow.  It was not too long after we heard some intro music go off, as it took a lot of us to adjust to the fact that this is not the Rock’s theme music whom we all had anxiously been waiting for, but Brock Lesnar.  He marched down that ramp, towards the ring, and John Cena with a out stretched hand wanting to welcome him back was met with an F5 for a greeting of his own.

What happens next?  We will find out in 7 Days!
