ANOTHER TRIBUTE TO BLACK SUPERSTARS.

Last week I wrote a article paying tribute to the Black Superstars past and present http://wwetapout.blogspot.com/2013/02/history-of-black-superstars.html,  here's a continuation, a part 2 two that article. Last time I spoke on Mark Henry, Booker T, Shelton Benjamin, Ron Simmons, and the Rock. Here are more great legends and current Superstars.

1.

Montel Vontavious Porter

We start this sequel article on a former WWE Superstar who currently wrestles in Japan. His name is MVP he started his WWE career on the Smackdown brand. His most popular feud I believe was against Matt Hardy, another former talent. They had a great feud over the US title. They had Basketball competitions, boxing matches in whi8ch he went up against Evander Holyfield , arm wrestling matches, and more. They later became tag team champs together also. They were perhaps one of the most disfunctional teams I've seen. They one time went up against the Brothers of Destruction, but couldn't pull of the victory. More on MVP even had his own WWE talk show called the VIP lounge. MVP left WWE in 2010 to go work for Japan which was his dream job. If he comes back to WWE I would like to see him wrestle with or against Prime Time Players.

2.

Ezekiel Jackson

He first appeared in WWE on Smackdown as former superstar Brian Kendrick's bodyguard. He was kinda like what Big E is to Dolph Ziggler kinda. He broke away from Kendrick and went on the ECW brand. He was put this show to be mentored by William Regal. Regal formed a tag team with Ezekiel and Vladimir Kozlov. They were put up against jobbers for a few weeks. Ezekiel broke away from that tag team and was put in the ECW title hunt in which he defeated Christian to become the last ECW champ in history on the last episode of ECW. Few months later he was put on Smackdown He was once again put in matches with jobbers after jobbers. Until one day he joined the former group known as the CORRE. It was what I like to call a spin off group from the Nexus. He was the powerhouse of the group. This is where his big spot light came when he was put up against Kane and Big Show from time to time. He slammed them both which is impressive. He would get a match at Mania that was CORRE vs Kane, Big Show, Kofi Kingston and Santino Marella. The Corre came up short. After he broke out of that group he went back to just being put in midcard matches once again. I for one want to see him put in bigger matches when or if he returns from current injury. If he returns I want to see him as World Champ.

3.

DVon Dudley

DVON has been in one of the greatest tag teams in all wrestling along side his half brother Bubba Ray/ Bully Ray/ Brother Ray. Together they've held over 20 tag team titles. His famous matches were the TLC matches. Pick one the all were great. Heel or Face he's great. His gimmick as Reverend DVon was funny and entertaining. He helped bring in Batista as his deacon. Dvon I remember when he took up a offering in the crowd and somebody tried stealing the money and he beat them down and said, " Though Shalt Not Steal."His reverend gimmick lasted until Survivor Series 2002 when he was put back with his brother Bubba to reform the Dudley Boyz. They captured the tag team titles once again and even went up against the Undertaker in a 2 on 1 match at Great American Bash. They lost the match , but it was a great match.
Now days Dvon is in TNA as a Heel, no longer tagging with his brother which doesn't make sense to me, and he's apart of a group known as Ace's of 8's. Not a big fan of the group. It just looks like a rebirth of NWO. I won't get too much into the TNA discussion. Would you rather see DVON in WWE or TNA ? Leave comment please. If he returns with his brother I think the tag team division would go to another level.
