WWE announced this past week that WrestleMania did 1.3 million pay-per-view buys. It's important to note that a more solid number of buys won't be known until May/June when WWE releases their next SEC filing. Even then the exact number won't be known because minor adjustments will be made over the course of the year. It's almost impossible to get a final number for an event that just happened a few weeks ago.

David Otunga getting a Title Run ?

As recent as last week, WWE officials were reportedly considering David Otunga for a run with the United States Title. The plan was to take the belt off Santino Marella after WrestleMania 28 and some within the company are surprised that he hasn't lost it yet.

Daniel Bryan on the " YES! " Chants.

WWE's website has a new article up looking at the popularity of Daniel Bryan's "YES!" chants. They re-posted Steve Austin's Twitter comments from a few weeks back where he endorsed the chants. Bryan said about Austin's comments:
"I think [Austin] was probably just placating fans. There’s a percentage of the WWE Universe that likes things they’re not supposed to like, and they’re responsible for the 'YES!' chants. When I first started doing it, the only thing I thought was that this is going to annoy the hell out of people."

Raw viewers news.

Both hours of last week's 4/9 WWE Monday Night Raw came in at No. 6 and No. 7 respectively among the cable top 25 for the week ending April 15, 2012. The show drew an average audience of 4.29 million viewers.
